New Raiding aproach March 2010
posted on Mon 01 Mar 2010 at 6:10pm
1) Raid Times:
- Invite Times shall be respected we start inviting 19:30, as such you will be ready and un-grouped.
Failure to be Raid Ready (with Flasks, Food & Pots) without notifying an Officer by 19:45 will result in consequences like being replaced, sitting out the next Raid and/or Minus DKP.
- Our 25-man Progress Raids will now be on Wed, Thurs & Sun 20:00 - 23:00
!!! Depending on the "Flow" of the Raid, the End-Time maybe extended for maximum an Hour At the Raid Leaders digression !!!
- Our 10-Man Progress Raids will now be on Fri & Sat 20:00 - 01:00
!!! These are Two Separate Fresh Runs and while not Mandatory we strongly encourage Raiders to participate !!!

Signing:
All Raiders will be expected to attend 2/3 Raids per week, This means YOU will sign up accordingly. Failure to do so may result in Minus-DKP

2) Performance
* Not meeting below requirements may result in a Demotion.
- DPS: A Minimum of 5K, Boss-Fights 6-7K
(some non-stationary fights will be taken into account, and lower DPS may be accepted)
- TPS:
- HPS:

3) DKP
- A Certain amount of DKP shall be earned per Night/Boss fight
- Being on Standby for Replacement will give you DKP
- Failure to sign/un-sign for raids -10 DKP
- Being late for invites -5 DKP
- No show for a raid -10 DKP

We've found that EPGP ( http://www.epgpweb.com/help/system ) may be a suitable way to have an Award system that takes Effort and Activity into account. There's also an Addon that supports this entirely in-game. A test will be launched to see if this system is for us.

Good Luck,
Nikki

Some Joined runs...
posted on Tue 16 Feb 2010 at 3:53am
Hey Guy's,

Wrath of War approached us to look into some joined action that may lead up to a Merge.

Darkprommise & myself had a chat with their GM & decided to set up some joined runs for at least one week, maybe Two and to take things from there.

Wrath of War has 13-15 People that are pretty HC Minded. While we're cautious we also feel this is what we may need to get a Raiders team of 30-35 People that can rotate due to other commitments while we keep a very Balanced & Capable team to work with.

The 25-man Raid schedule is slightly changed to accommodate Players from Both Guilds: Wed, Sun, Mon 19:30 - 23:00

Each Guild will have at least 10 Spots with a "Floating" 5 spots to balance out the Raid.

Free Server Transfer...
posted on Fri 05 Feb 2010 at 9:07am
Dear Friends,

Recently I've seriously been thinking about changing servers when the next Free Migration comes available.

While the attitude we get on Silvermoon isn't the main reason it definitely plays part in things. For me the biggest issue is the Lag on multiple fronts that's getting worse and worse as the years go by.

It's a big step and I'm not 100% sure myself yet, but I thought to put my thoughts out here so we can all reflect on it, we'll be leaving some people behind, friends that are maybe not in The Brethren. I can understand this may make the final decision harder, it does for me.

The Brethren Raiders Going Hardcore...
posted on Wed 13 Jan 2010 at 1:59am
Dear Friends,

As the Topic indicates, a new time is upon us.

Over the last few years we gradually evolved from a Casual Guild that Raids to a Casual Rading Guild.

Now with our strong History and Experience, strengthened with the Merges from last year it's time to step into a new Era.

The Brethren Raiding Team is going "Hardcore".

Quite some preparations already have been made to accommodate this:
- Two Sign-up Systems to accommodate everyone's needs
- A Raid Counsel tracking our performance
- Some people being put as Trial-Raider to show they're "worthy".

Make no mistake Ladies & Gentlemen we'll have to follow a Hard Line if we wish to be part of this Raiding Team. Our Goal is to become one of the Top 25-Guilds on Silvermoon. So... The Expectations are high, your Performance must be Remarkable and your Devotion and Dedication must be Outstanding.

Our Casual minded Players shall be organized under the Guidance of appointed Officers (atm Mondumon and Sunny). They will Raid their own content at their own pace.

With New Content coming available the Hardcore Raiders will be encouraged to split in Two Teams when possible to explore the new 10-man Encounters early in the weeks to prepare for the 25-man progress. While later on in the week -before the reset- we will organize Events Guild-wide, Where All Brethren can unite and catch up in a laid back atmosphere, yet with realistic targets to claim our success.

For this to work I ask for your patience and understanding and invite you all to be a proud Member of our Unique Guild and be part of our next step into the World of Warcraft. As always we try our best to accommodate everyone and will welcome your thoughts for improvement.

Good Luck and enjoy your time online!

The progress raids and the new raid section on website !
posted on Tue 12 Jan 2010 at 9:44am
Hi all

Here a short explanation about the set-up of the 3 progress 25man raids that happen on wednesday/friday and sunday and the new raid section on the website. The goal we want to reach with these raids is clearing all current available content at any given moment.
We always had the rule to give raiders priority over casuals for spots in these raids.
However because we didn't have a complete raiding team (raiders only) we often offered spots for casuals.
But with all the current changes in content and expansion of the raidingteam we aim to fill those raids with raiders only.
As u all noticed there is a new raid section (raids 10) on the website so there is still a lot of room for casuals to have nice guild raids (10 & 25man). There will be a small difference between these raids at the start of new content.
In the begin we try to create a progress raider team to explore the new content and to prepare raiders for the 25man progress raids.
We will all do our best to make sure all these raids will be fun for everone (and for some this means clearing asap and others prefer a chilled fun raid).
If anyone has any questions or suggestions about raids/raiding please feel free to poke me Smile
